Built on Water - Angel's Gate Cultural Center - Summer 2026.
All of my materials for this show were "found" in some way. The poem was cut from a roll of paper that was donated to me. The "fish" were date palm husks wrapped in tin foil that I had inherited. The orange suitcases were found on the curb. The white plastic jugs were cut previously for other installations. The cardboard was rescued computer packaging. It was all infused with metta. It contained my wish for a future shipping system that is co-designed in sacred kinship with the ocean and all of the creatures that live in it.
